I wrote software for 26 years. Now I direct AI to write it.

Most of it was production software in Python, TypeScript, C#, and .NET. Then in 2023, I spent four hours on a problem, fed it to ChatGPT, and got better code in thirty seconds. That was the “oh no” moment. I decided to embrace it.

Today I'm an AI engineer. I build AI-native systems, software with AI at the center, and I run them in production.

What I build now

At DuploCloud I built DCAF, the agent framework other engineers used to ship agents to about 40 customer environments. At Conway Works, my personal engineering lab, I design, build, and run production AI systems on self-hosted infrastructure, and I own every layer from architecture to daily operation.

What I care about

Craftsmanship, simplicity, and systems that stay reliable after the demo is over. Most of what's on this site is me working that out in real code.

Outside of work

I live in Folsom, California, with my wife Erin, our daughter, and our cat Mango.
